SUP (Stand Up Paddling) Lesson Details & Rates
Learn to ‘Walk on Water’ with the fastest growing water sport in the world! Stand Up Paddling is so popular because everyone can do it and it offers such a unique perspective on the water. It is a great workout that challenges your balance, core and all your muscles from your feet to your finger tips!
Where: Lake Ontario - Ash Bridges Bay, Cherry Beach to Burlington
Lake Erie - Port Stanley, Turkey Point & Port Colborne
Lake Huron - Grand Bend, Bayfield to Sauble Beach

How long: SUP lessons are one hour
Novice/Beginner Lessons (Ideal in flat water)
• Safety precautions and lake currents
• Surf etiquette
• How to wax your board
• Dry land – warming up for your SUP session
• How to paddle prone, kneeling, and standing
• How to fall
• Paddling technique for an efficient stroke
• How to use your body and paddle to turn
• Board and wetsuit recommendations – boards available for purchase
Advanced Lessons & Tours (In surf & rivers)
• Surf etiquette and lake currents
• What is your surfing stance?
• How to paddle out through the white wash in the surf
• How to pivot to get into waves
• Catching waves – wave selection and how to paddle into them
• River tours down and upstream
• Board and wetsuit recommendations – boards available for purchase
Cost: Private - $89 2 people - $70 ea 3 people - $60 ea 4 people - $50 ea
